Our Dove Release Policy
- A Dove's Nest has the right to refuse service if we feel the request is unsafe for the doves.
- Professional release attendants will accompany all releases.
- He or she will remain at the event until the doves are in the air.
- Appropriate attire is worn and the attendant will be reliable, punctual and professional.
- A Dove's Nest attendant will arrive with the doves one half hour before the event begins.
- At this time we offer a basket, cage, chapel or hand release.
- For a handheld release, the attendant will distribute the doves to the appropriate participants.
- If a hand release is requested, we will not be held responsible if the dove soils you or your clothing.
- Please note you are holding a live dove.
- A Dove’s Nest will decide if the weather conditions are safe for the dove release. A light rain is o.k.
- We do not release doves indoors
- Most releases must be done within a 45 mile radius of Marietta Georgia.
- I wish I could say how many times the doves will circle, but I truthfully can't. If you are releasing more than one dove, the doves will always join together before leaving the area, but due to trees or buildings you may not see them join.
Sunrise, Sunset Calendar
- We don't release the doves near or after dark. Please check the sunrise,sunset calendar before planning your dove release.The doves must be allowed enough time to arrive home safely. In most cases ,please allow one hour before sunset.
Cancellations and Refund
You have the right to cancel our services at any time but you may not receive a refund.
Yes, we do offer refunds but please understand once we receive your signed contract, we don't take other events in your time frame. We are honored to be your dove release provider and we plan to attend your event.
- We offer a refund if A Dove's Nest cancels the dove release because the weather conditions are unsafe for the doves to fly.Please check the weather channel for an up date and give us a call with any concerns.
- We offer a refund if a A Dove's Nest attendant or your personal situation is uncontrollable such as an accident, death or illness.
- If you cancel our services due to a situation other then an accident or illness, please contact us for a refund consideration.
- We offer a refund if your event is canceled thirty days prior to the contracted event date. If you cancel our services within thirty days of the event due to a situation other than an accident, death, or illness, please contact us for a refund consideration.
- If an outdoor event has been moved indoors for any reason, this is not a reason to cancel our services or receive a refund. Over 60% of our weddings and special events are indoors. We will meet you outside for the dove release.
- If the event runs late and the doves cannot be released due to weather or night fall, the deposit and any other payments will Not be Refunded. When planning your event always have your doves in mind.
- Example: If you event is scheduled to start at 4:00 P.M. and the release is schedule for 5:00 P.M. but the event doesn't start til 5:00 P.M. and the release at 6:00 P.M. If it starts to rain or the sunsets, there will be No Refunds.
- Once the doves are in the air there will be No Refunds.
Dove Display
Our Fees
- Our small ring neck doves that are on display will not be released.
- If the display is for the ceremony, we will deliver the doves and cage one hour before the ceremony begins and will remain there until after the ceremony to pick up the cage.
- Display is for the reception; we will drop off the doves and cage and will return to pick up the doves and cage after the reception.
- If the display is for ceremony and reception, A Dove's Nest attendant will remain until the ceremony is over if you need our assistance to move the cage to the reception area.
- Dove display/ release, we will arrive before the event and remain at the event until the doves have been released.
Our Fees
- If the release is within 45 miles from Marietta Ga, a $25.00 gas and travel fee will be added to the price over 45 miles. You can map quest your event from our 30066 zip code.
- A fee of $25.00 will be charged for each additional hour after the scheduled release or display time.
- Example: Your event starts at 4:00 P.M. dove release at 5:00 P.M.You will have til 6:00 P.M. before you are charged a late fee.
- We except credit cards as a convenience to our clients.
- We pay all credit and debit card processing fees
- Before you sign the contract between you and A Dove's Nest , you will be asked if you understand and accept our business policy.
